The White House praised the IFA's commitment to veterans on Tuesday, highlighting the more than 4,300 veterans the IFA has helped become franchise business owners since 2011 and the industry group's commitment to hire 80,000 veterans and their spouses and 5,000 wounded warriors through member companies by the end of 2014. UPS was also recognized by the White House for its plans to hire more than 25,000 veterans over the next five years.
