Job seekers need a team to support them in their search, writes Jeffrey Kudisch, managing director of the Office of Career Services at the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Kudisch suggests finding up to eight people who are seeking similar, but not the same, kind of jobs, to meet with each week to brainstorm and share opportunities. "Treat people with respect and agree to help all members gain closure on their job search. Remember that the professional relationships that you build may continue long after your job search ends," Kudisch advises.
