Social entrepreneurs have the ability to find innovative, commercially viable solutions to intractable societal problems, experts say. Still, successful social enterprises often need to reintegrate back into the mainstream private sector. "When they get to the point where they've proven the model and the solution is working, they find that they need to partner with ... the private sector to be able to successfully scale up," explains INSEAD's Christine Driscoll.
