In this commentary, they suggest pairing veteran professors with new faculty to facilitate learning, and helping emeritus professors maintain a role within the college. "Educational institutions cannot afford to neglect or overlook the distinctive assets their older faculty (late-career and retired) possess and are eager to share," they write.
