St. John's Institute for Cognitive Health in Jackson, Wyo., announced plans to offer remote consultations to veterans with memory problems using a telemedicine system that will link the facility to Department of Veterans Affairs clinics in Aspen, Colo., and Idaho Falls and Pocatello, Idaho. The consultations will be given at no charge to the patient, and the telehealth effort will enable more patients to get help more conveniently, particularly in the winter, said Institute Founding Director Dr. Martha Stearn.
