The U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control has granted Classic Journeys of San Diego, the Institute for Shipboard Education in Charlottesville, Va., and Other Cuban Journeys of Flint, Mich., licenses to operate people-to-people cultural exchange programs to Cuba. Classic Journeys' program includes a visit to Habana Vieja and meetings with students and farmers, while Other Cuban Journeys has scheduled five trips of three weeklong itineraries between Aug. 5 and Jan. 20. The approval of a two-year license allows the Institute for Shipboard Education to add Cuba to its itinerary for two world voyages under its Semester at Sea program.
