Global Entry has opened new offices at airports in Tampa, Fla., and Albuquerque, N.M., and in downtown Washington, D.C., to help international travelers speed through customs. Passengers can enroll in the federal program by submitting to a background check, fingerprinting and a 15-minute interview. Travelers are also enrolled in the Transportation Security Administration's Pre-check program, which allows faster security check-ins for some airlines.
