The iPad commanded 82.4% of tablet Web traffic in the U.S. and Canada last month, according to data from mobile advertising platform Chitika. The figure marks a five-month high for the iPad and dwarfs the next closest competitor, the Amazon Kindle, which came in at 6.5%. "While there are a number of players in the tablet marketplace, Apple clearly dominates the market and managed to increase its usage share lead this past month," Chitika said in its report.
