NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory has observed a "bonanza" of black holes in the Andromeda Galaxy, some 2.5 million light-years away. Scientists have spotted 26 black holes, which form when stars with five to 10 times the mass of our sun collapse under their own gravity's force. A total of 35 have been discovered in Andromeda, and scientists say that's "just the tip of the iceberg."
