Cablevision, under a 20-year agreement, will provide Wi-Fi services at New Jersey Transit stations and on trains. The deal, which is said to be the nation's first such private-public Wi-Fi arrangement, calls for Cablevision to pay for the necessary equipment. The cabler's customers will have free access, while others will be asked to pay a "reasonable" fee that has not been made public.
