Sales of telepresence and videoconferencing equipment slipped by double-digit percentages in the first quarter of 2013, topping out at $661 million as enterprises sought lower-cost multimedia alternatives, according to a report from Infonetics Research. Cisco distinguished itself as the world's leading provider, besting rivals Polycom and Huawei, which came in second and third.
