A solar-powered rover named Zoe was dispatched on a two-week field test last week in Chile's Atacama Desert, with scientists hoping it will help improve the search for life on Mars. The latest rover is set to launch in 2020 and will be equipped with the ability to drill into the surface of Mars to search for evidence of microbes, a function not included on either rover currently on the Red Planet.
