A group of Latino students at Dunbar High School in Lexington, Ky., recently published a book about their experiences growing up as immigrants and, in some cases, undocumented in the U.S. The book grew out of outreach efforts to encourage Hispanic students and support Latino Outreach Leaders, a club formed by students. "I really hope it [the book] inspires Latino kids and shows them that they can succeed," said Maria Ortiz, 18, a founder of the club who last month graduated from high school.
