Elena Aguilar, a transformational leadership coach, writes in this blog post about the benefits of end-of-year reports in helping the instructional and leadership coaches she works with reflect on their work. The reports -- between eight and 15 pages long -- provide Aguilar with better insight into the work the coaches have performed over the previous year and benefit the coaches by allowing them to "gain deeper understanding of themselves as coaches, as well as of their clients, and allowed them to clearly identify next steps in their work," she writes.
