More than three-quarters of employees reported needing help planning for retirement, according to a survey by JPMorgan Asset Management. Fewer than a third said they thought their savings would last them through retirement, and just over half thought they would need less than 75% of their pre-retirement earnings to be comfortable. To help employees plan better, "features like automatic enrollment and automatic escalation of contributions are critical to that success," said director of Retirement Insights Catherine Peterson.
