Chipmaker Nvidia hopes to boost its mobile device business by licensing its graphics core technology to hardware companies such as Apple and Samsung Electronics, CEO Jen-Hsun Huang told an industry summit Tuesday. Nvidia has enjoyed some success selling its Tegra line of processors to tablet makers but has found the wireless market tough to crack. "If there was ever a way for Nvidia to get into Apple, the [intellectual property] licensing angle is likely it," Hans Mosesmann, a Raymond James analyst, told clients.
