Tablet and mobile viewing of online video accounted for a record-breaking more than 10% of all video plays in the first quarter of this year, according to Ooyala. The figure represents a 19% increase for tablet and mobile video viewing over the same period last year. "Video publishers who fail to deliver and monetize mobile content on tablets and smartphones are leaving digital dollars on the table," Ooyala noted in its report.
