Cable TV over the next few years will increase ad revenue by 7% annually, continuing to make inroads against broadcasting, according to a ZenithOptimedia report. Cable currently makes up 12.7% of total ad spending and 32.8% of all TV expenditures. "We continue to see TV dollars moving from network to cable, and this trend will likely continue as cable networks continue to add quality programming to their lineups," the report said.
