Viacom's social media strategy now includes a partnership with Twitter, with plans for video ad tweets based around its cable TV shows. The first set of ads will be delivered during this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Twitter said the award show was the "most popular news event" on the social network last year, with users voting for videos by tweets 52 million times.
