An estimated $3 billion project in Atlanta dubbed the Beltline is moving ahead with construction, which includes new housing and transit stations, green spaces, trails and parks. "The economic impact will not only be significant for Atlanta, but it'll help rebalance growth for some parts of the city that haven't seen investment for a number of years," said architect Ryan Gravel of Perkins+Will, the project's designer. Work is expected to be finished by 2031.
