Faculty-ranked scientists age 42 or younger from across the U.S. will now be eligible for the Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists, which are being expanded from their previous scope of just three states. Billionaire Len Blavatnik has committed $30 million to the award that will provide $250,000 to three outstanding young scientists each year. "Our goal is to celebrate America's exceptional young scientists and showcase their achievements to inspire the next generation of scientists," Blavatnik said.
