The AAFP's Americans in Motion-Healthy Interventions program led to improvements in BMI levels and overall fitness among patients in 21 family medicine practices, according to a study published in the Annals of Family Medicine. "Offering help for behavioral change using the AIM-HI tools to interested patients can result in worthwhile improvements in weight and physical fitness," lead researcher Wilson Pace, M.D., said.
