Wine consumption in the U.S. increased last year, according to a recent report by Technomic, and new research suggests millennials seeking casual and specialty wines seem to be driving the market to offer a broader array of products. The report also reveals that 2012 wine retail sales increased 3.6% over 2011 to $32.3 billion, and that two-fifths of wine drinkers are more likely to buy wine for at-home consumption if they have previously sampled it in a bar or restaurant.
