Canadian firm Energy Fuels Resources is seeking public comments for its uranium mill project in Montrose County, Colo., which, if approved, would be the first uranium mill in the U.S. constructed in over 30 years. The company was given state authorization to build the mill in 2011, but the license was revoked after it was determined there were no formal public hearings held by the state. A public meeting is scheduled in Nucla, Colo., on Aug. 13, while comments via e-mail, mail or fax will be accepted until Sept. 13.
