Fox News has one of the biggest audiences among cable networks, but also one of the oldest -- its viewers' median age for the past two years has been more than 65. Despite the 25-to-54 demographic setting the standard for ad sales, Fox News has been able to remain competitive with marketers due to "the level of passion and engagement" among its audience, analyst Craig Moffett said. "I don't think you can fully capture the value Fox News brings by looking at the Nielsen ratings alone," he said.
