Officials in a Wisconsin school district say that revenue from the hot school-lunch program fell by $75,000 last year -- largely because of new federal regulations mandating certain nutritional standards. Of that, $26,000 was lost in revenue from cookies after school nutrition professionals changed the recipe, officials said. "I hope we're not eager to drop a big pile of fries and pizza on the plate," said John McMullen, school board president. "It's different than a for-profit business. We have to take into account the well-being of our students."
