Omnicom and Publicis have agreed to merge and combine their data and digital efforts as they seek to combat Internet giants such as Facebook and Google in the growing sphere of automated digital ads. The new Publicis Omnicom Group will be the largest ad agency by revenue and will house agencies such as BBDO, TBWA Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett and Razorfish. "This is a new company for a new world," said Publicis chief Maurice Levy, who will serve as co-CEO alongside Omnicom chief John Wren.
