More than a quarter of children and teens with cerebral palsy have moderate to severe chronic pain, most commonly from hip dislocation and dystonia, according to a study published in Pediatrics. Researchers said that the pain often is under-recognized and under-treated, and that clinicians should be aware of the causes of pain and be proactive in treating it.
