Time Warner Cable has revamped its Essentials Internet service for users who consume less bandwidth and introduced a second option for slightly heavier users.
Customers can now choose a plan that discounts the monthly service by $8 a month and includes 5 GB of data, or one that offers a $5 monthly discount and includes 30 GB of data. Customers who surpass their monthly allowance will have to pay $1 per GB, but not more than $25 in overage fees for each billing cycle.
