A new Google AdSense ad unit has been designed for sites automatically adapting to different screen sizes. "Being able to control how ads appear on these sites has become a more pressing issue for developers and web designers," Frederic Lardinois writes. Employing asynchronous ad code, the units will accept the same CSS media queries used for developing responsive sites. "As Google notes, one thing that doesn't work yet is support for screen orientation changes after a page has been loaded," Lardinois writes.
