Making the decision to pivot and abandon a failing business model can be painful, but it can also help you to prepare for future success, writes Jerry Jao, co-founder and CEO of Retention Science. Pivoting helped Jao and his business partner to learn about the need to validate their assumptions, anticipate resource needs and pay attention to the competition.
