Four of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s five division chiefs have departed the regulatory agency in the past year, and SEC Chairman Mary Jo White is the third head the agency has had in nine months. Despite the turnover, however, agency insiders insist that the regulator's work remains unaffected. "It's not unusual for there to be significant turnover, particularly with a new chairman," says Harvey Goldschmid, a former SEC commissioner.
