Second-quarter revenues for Summit Hotel Properties grew to $83.1 million, compared with $43.5 million in the previous year, the company said. Earnings before taxes reached $26.7 million, up 79% from last year's earnings. Revenue per available room on a same-store basis was up 8% amid a 4.9% increase in same-store average daily rate and occupancy growth of 219 basis points.
