Cerner Corp. plans a major development at a former shopping-mall site in Kansas City, Mo. The $4.3 billion, 4.5-million-square-foot mixed-use campus would include office and retail space, a data center, day care facility and hotel. The city's Tax Increment Financing Commission voted to submit the project's TIF proposal -- which includes investments in area STEM education -- to the City Council for approval.
