Leaking radioactive water from Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant has not affected U.S. seafood, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution senior scientist Ken Buesseler said. Fish contaminated with cesium surpassing levels allowed in Japan are not being exported or sold internally, and dilution has eliminated concern about radionuclides in fish off the U.S. West Coast, Buesseler wrote on the organization's website.
