Seventy-two percent of large companies are marketing via mobile and a further 16% intend to do so, according to a Syniverse study that also found more than 9 in 10 companies surveyed acknowledging the importance of mobile for their business. "Clearly, when you look at these results, the respondents have confirmed how important mobile solutions are and also that mobile solutions for marketing campaigns are important. ... They now get that it's going to be part of a campaign to reach customers," said Syniverse Chief Marketing Officer Janet Roberts.
