Google is making a push to get more small businesses to use its Maps application with a new service that offers smaller companies access to location-based analytics. Google Maps Engine Pro can be used to determine where to best store company assets or where the most customer service calls are coming from, for example. "Google Maps Engine Pro is about making those tools more friendly and accessible, letting small business owners and other 'professionals' visualize their mapping data, rather than trying to do so internally from a spreadsheet list of locations," Matthew Panzarino writes.
