ING Groep increased its offering of shares in its U.S. insurance and annuity business by $146 million, the company said. The banks underwriting the offering bought an additional 4.95 million shares of ING U.S. at a price-per-share of $29.50. Meanwhile, Asian private equity investor RRJ Capital is reported to have increased its ownership of ING U.S. by $248 million, giving it 4.4% ownership of the company and making it the U.S. company's second-largest shareholder.
