Instagram will start photo- and video-ad campaigns as early as next week, and the social network sent out a sample ad to users on Thursday to prepare them for the look. The ads will get a further rollout in the "coming week" and will feature a "Sponsored" note, the company said. Instagram's "approach to monetizing the platform is so careful you could almost characterize it as curatorial," Rebecca Lieb of Altimeter Group wrote in a blog post.
