Ketchuppp is a meet-up application encouraging people to find one another outside the virtual world by making the user's mobile address book a private social network. It accesses a user's contact list and utilizes GPS tracking to differentiate itself from other more random or specific meet-up apps such as Circle, Highlight or Let's Lunch, pinging the user when a friend is nearby. "It only informs you when someone is around. So it is not possible to be surprised by someone who found your exact location on a map. ... We respect the privacy of the individual user, both people have to agree on a meeting," the company says.
