Dr. Janet Woodcock sent out a memo to staff of the FDA Center for Drug Evaluation and Research denying rumors that she is about to retire. Woodcock wrote that she is increasing her involvement in work such as the possible reorganizations of the Office of Generic Drugs and the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality. "The inaccuracy of the media has unnecessarily raised concerns among Center staff, and even among my own family," Woodcock's memo said.
