The planning commission in Moab, Utah, has told the city council to reject an amendment to its proposed sign ordinance that would allow for larger signs in the city's northern commercial zone. The change would allow for improved visibility for a sign that rests below the highway grade, according to Holiday Inn Express attorney Denise Drago. Planning commission member Wayne Hoskisson said additional signage could help alleviate the Holiday Inn's concerns.
