Mary Dussault and Erika Wright
Mary Dussault is a science education program manager at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, where she directs national research and development projects in science learning. Dussault’s work focuses on translating educational research into practice: using what we know about how people learn and what motivates STEM interest and identity to design effective learning experiences. Erika Wright is an education specialist in the Science Education Department at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, specializing in supporting the inclusive participation of girls, youth from groups underrepresented in STEM and scientists together in science learning experiences beyond the classroom. Wright has worked in a variety of museum and informal learning settings.
